New edition to come into fashion
From 20 to 26 June, Frankfurt is going big in fashion at Fashion Week. Following the withdrawal of the Premium Group, one of the most important organisers in the German fashion industry, at the beginning of the year, the economic development agency is now taking the helm. Sevinc Yerli , initiator of the Frankfurt Fashion Lounge, and Oliver Schwebel , Head of Economic Development, gave the first details yesterday at a press conference in the Carmelite Monastery. "Our focus is on the city," emphasised Schwebel. There will be corresponding activities in the city centre, but also in the city districts.

For designer Paulinus Fung M'englū, who grew up in Frankfurt am Main, the combination of art and fashion is a way of life. At the age of 23, he began shopping for T-shirts and redesigning them in his very own artistic way. Paulinus Fung M'englū's special eye for combining fashion and art quickly caught on and was worn by well-known personalities such as Soulja Boy in the early days. In 2018, the now 27-year-old founded the eponymous brand M'englū Paris.
